On 27th May 2018, Sunday from 8am to 10am, clean-up drive of the Agara Lake mini-forest was successfully completed. This mini-forest which is part of the Agara Lake have been maintained by Kaagaz Foundation for last 3years, and has been organizing regular Tree Plantation and clean-up drives via various Citizen groups and CSR initiatives.

The clean-up drive involved in clearing all the dry waste and removing unwanted plants both inside and outside the mini-forest. Along with Kumaresh, Kavitha, Lalitha, Vishweshwar, Krishna Kumar, Jigna, Jeevan and 2 PKs from BBMP also joined in the activity.

'I have been maintaining this mini-forest via my NGO and with volunteer support from like minded people in the locality, I want this to be a good lung space and be an example for creation of Urban forests across the city' says Kavitha Reddy.

In the coming months Kaagaz Foundation will list out the Trees in the mini-forest, thereby creating a information board about the Trees in the mini-forest.
